Panguni Pongal 2013

Panguni Pongal Festival 2013 begins with Utaravu Kaetkum event. The Utaravu Kaetkum event was performed on 17th March 2013, Sunday at Mariamman Temple. Devotees those who are going to carry out Agni Chatti are asked to observe fasting for 21 days. The way leading to Sivakasi Mariamman Temple wore a festive look, with decorative lights. 2013 Panguni Pongal Kodiyetram event will be performed on 31st March 2013, Sunday. Sivakasi Panguni Pongal and Kayirukuthu Festival will be held on 7th and 8th April 2013, respectively.
