Annual Sports Day Celebrated at PSREC

Fourteenth Sports day of P.S.R Engineering College was held on 19th April 2013, Friday, with jubilant mood. Thiru R.Solaisamy, Correspondent, presided over the function. Directors Mr.Arun and Mr.Sundar were present in the function. Dr.K.R.Viswanathan, Principal delivered the presidential address. Prof.V.Anusuya Dept.of CSE welcomed the gathering. Chief guest Thiru M.CHINNIAH, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Sattur delivered the sports day address. In his address he emphasized the significance of Sports in cultivating competitive spirit in students’ life. The event was started with march-past and lighting of Olympic Torch. Prof. P.Ebenezer Sathish Paul presented the Annual Sports meet report. Medals and Certificates were given by the Chief Guest to the winners of the various sports activities. Mr.Balaiya, Physical Director proposed vote of thanks. Mr.A.Muthiah, Ms.Amutha, Mr.D.Sriram & Mr.Veerasaravanakumar and all other sports personnel were also present during the celebration.
