Sivakasians secure district rank in +2 exam

Two students from Sivakasi, among three students, who came secured first place in District-level, brought laurels to their schools in Virudhunagar district in the 12th (Higher Secondary) examination results announced on 9th May 2013, Thursday. P.Padmini Julia Thangam of Sivakasi YRTV Matriculation Higher Secondary School and R.Nethra Devi of VSKDN Matriculation Higher Secondary School came first in district level by scoring 1178/1200 marks. They took Tamil as their first language. V.Dhanalakshmi secured State First in Zoology. She scored 198/200. R.T.Deepika, from Sivakasi YRTV Matriculation Higher Secondary School, whose first language is French, scored the highest in the Virudhunagar District with 1,185/1,200. Only those who opted for Tamil as first language are considered for the official rank list.
