Jasmine prices touched a record high in Sivakasi

On the eve of Onam festival, prices of flowers have shot up. In Sivakasi, Jasmine price ranges from Rs.1,100 to Rs.1,200 per kg., and pichipoo Rs.500 per kg.. The Jasmine prices touched a record high in Sivakasi town. Jasmine flower is just a dream for Sivakasi commoners this wedding season as it costs Rs.1,200 per kg.. Sivakasi florist expected that the price of Jasmine flower will fall back to normal within two days.
