Thattaan, The Helicopter

As rainy season starts, Thattaan (Dragonflies) follow. In Sivakasi, there was good rainfall in October 2013. As a result of the rain, hundreds of brown tinted Dragonflies can be seen hovering over lawns and shrubs like helicopters, in Sivakasi. Thattaan (The Helicopters) are capable of long distance migrations and it appears to follow the rains, from the monsoon season in Sivakasi town, every year. There are lot of train worms found outside the houses of Sivakasi. Children following the train worms and playing with it.
