Cauliflower Season in Sivakasi

Cauliflower prices may continue to remain subdued at least for the next three months as it is season of Cauliflower. In Sivakasi town usually Cauliflower season starts in November end and goes on till January. Some roadside vendors kept Cauliflowers in different sizes in the major areas such as NRKR Road, Near Sivan Kovil and Vegetable Markets of Sivakasi town. Price of Cauliflower in Sivakasi is between Rs.10 and Rs.30 for one flower. A vendor near Sivakasi New Road said sivakasiweekly.com that, during non season days Cauliflower price ranges from Rs.40 to Rs.60, the season will end up at the end of January.
