National Voter-s Day Observed at AAACET

The fourth National Voter-s Day was celebrated in AAA College of Engineering & Technology on January 25th 2014, Saturday. The Management and the Principal organized National Voter-s Day Celebration in the college premises. Voters- awareness contests were conducted in lieu of NVD. The prime aim of the Programme is to enhance the number of electorate who can exercise franchise. The youth of AAA participated enthusiastically in the debate on the topic “Whether a Democratic Nation Elects a Right Representative through the Voting.” There were hot and fun-filled discussions in the debate. The venue echoed the applause of the students. A drama focused on the prevailing political situation and the future perspective of the politics under the leadership of the present generation was staged. It was thought provoking and won everyone’s heart. Slogans exemplifying the importance of voting among the youth were on the display. The students took the National Voter-s Day pledge along with Mrs.A.Prem Anandhi, the Coordinator of the Programme. The students realized their responsibility as Indian Citizens and felt “Proud to be a Voter; Ready to Vote”
