Great Indian Circus is in Sivakasi

Great Indian Circus was inaugurated on 31st January 2014, Friday, at Sivakasi Coronation Bus Stop Junction. There would be three shows every day – at 01:00 p.m., 04:00 p.m. and 07:00 p.m.. Acrobatic performances, a cricket match of elephants, and fire dance performance are the highlights of the circus this time around. Apart from that, rope skipping pole, human pyramid also kept the audience on the edge of their seats, while camels, horses and puppies added to the excitement. Perhaps the most amazing act of the show was of an artiste swallowing a sharp sword and pulling it out, flashing a wide smile at the stunned Sivakasi audience. The aerial trapeze acts by skillful acrobats were performed with perfect coordination. The circus attracted a good number of people on weekends. It is two-and-a-half hours of non-stop fun. Ticket rates are Rs.40, Rs.70, Rs.100 and Rs.150.
