Awareness Programme Organised at AAACET

Narcotics Control Bureau organized an awareness programme on the topic “Heroes Becoming Zeroes by Drug Abuse” at AAA College of Engineering &Technology campus on 10th July 2014, Thursday. Dr.M.Vijaya Saravanan MD., PG Dip in Public Health., Meenakshi Mission Hospital and Mr.J.Appukuttan, Intelligence Officer Narcotics Control Bureau, the guests of honor of the day delivered an insatiable talk on the Drug Abuse and its Noxious Effects on Psychological behavior of humans. Furthermore, they elaborated vital statistics about the drug abuse in Indian youths and insisted on the social responsibilities of youths and advised them not to ever give in to the human toll illegal drugs. Selvan Pradeep, II yr CSE, Selvan H.Kishore, II yr CSE and Selvi V.Gayathri, II yr CSE secured the top three places respectively in the painting competition conducted on July 9th 2014, which was a part of the programme. Mr.J.Appukuttan distributed the certificates for the winners.

Chairman Shri.P.Panjurajan, Secretary Dr.P.Karvannan, Correspondent Dr.P.Ganesan, Joint Secretary Er.K.Vignesh Kumar B.E., MBA (UK), Principal Dr.K.Arulmozhi and the AAA Family members have organized the programme to guide the youths of AAACET in creating a Drug Free Society.
