Pongal Celebration @ SBCP

Sivakasi Sankaralingam Bhuvaneswari College of Pharmacy organised Pongal celebrations at its campus, on 13th January 2015, Tuesday. The college Principal Prof.Solairaj led the celebrations, in the presence of Prof. Sudarsingh, Vice Principal, SBCP. Faculty and students participated in the celebrations, where pongal was cooked. The college had organised rangoli, tug of war and pot breaking game (uri adithal) for students. The students whole-heartedly participated in all the games and enjoyed the celebration. Prof. Reghurathi Pandian delivered speech on Swami Vivekananda. The celebration was followed by the distribution of sweet pongal and sugarcane.
