Thiruthangal Kaaliamman Kovil Kumbabhisegam

On 8th February 2015, Sunday, Maha Kumbabishekam (consecration) of Thiruthangal Kaaliamman Kovil, held, hundreds of devotees witnessed the Kumbabisekam festival. Holy water was poured on the Kovil kalasams atop the rajagopuram and other towers amid chanting of hymns and mantras. Special pujas were performed from the morning. The holy water was sprinkled on devotees immediately after the kumbabishekam through sprinklers. The temple and campus were decked with pandhals, colour papers and festoons. Annadhaanam has been done. The festival was well organised by Thiruthangal Hindu Nadar Uravinmurai.
