Maha Sivaratri Celebrated in Sivakasi

Yesterday, Maha Sivaratri was celebrated with devotion and traditional fervour across Sivakasi Town. Long queues were seen at Sivan Kovil and other temples right from early hours. Special prayers and abishegams has been performed. Sivakasi Sivan Kovil managements made elaborate arrangements for the proper dharsan of pilgrims attending Sivaratri celebrations. Sivakasi traffic police made elaborate arrangements for the smooth flow of traffic to ensure orderly movement of devotees near Sivan Kovil. On the occasion of Sivaratri Sivakasians prepared Mocha Payir Kulambu.
