Sivakasi traders down shutters in protest against attack on traders

The Sivakasi traders here today kept all business establishments closed to protest the attack on Anna Vegetable Market traders. The Sivakasi traders condemned the attack on traders. Routine life in Sivakasi was completely paralysed as all traders closed their shops condemning the attack on town-s Anna Vegetable Market President Kamalamoorthy (60), Vice President Ganesan (40) and Member Murugesan (33) and demanding criminal action against those behind the attack. To register their protest, traders downed the shutters. The following associations down shutters their shops; Anna Vegetable Market Sangam, Sivakasi Anaithu Varthagargal Sangam, Bazar Vyaabarigal Sangam, Bus Stand Traders Association, Siru Vyabarigal Sangam and Nadaipadhai Vyabarigal Sangam.
