Pradhosam held on 14th June

In Sivakasi, on 14th June 2015, Sunday, Prathosam prayers was conducted, at evening. Prathosam is a day of importance for Lord Shiva and it occurs twice every month once during the growing moon period and once during the waning moon period. The offering of prayers on Prathosam day to both Lord Shiva and Nandhi is believed to destroy our sins and shower his blessings. In Sivakasi, Prathosam is an important event in Sivan Kovil. Special prayers were offered. Hundreds of devotees were presented on the auspicious occasion.
