Spontaneous mourning for Kalam

In Sivakasi, individuals and other organisations put up giant banners, flex boards and wall posters of Dr.A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, with slogans in prominent places of the town. All sections of society in Sivakasi town came together to condole the demise of former President A.P.J. Abdul Kalam. Posters of the late former President, with descriptions of his words of inspiration and encouragement, were put up at the key junctions of Sivakasi. Several organisations in Sivakasi mourned the demise of the former President through condolence meetings and several persons paid tributes by observing silence.
