Mariamman Kovil glowing with lights

Sivakasi Mariamman Temple wore festive look, as thousands of colorful lights set the temple aglow. There are also hundreds of serial lit GOD & GODDESS structures to mark the 2016 Panguni Pongal Festival in Sivakasi. Work to light up the temple started last week and it is expected to be completed by tomorrow. The temple will dazzlingly light up every night until April second week and has become a much-awaited Panguni Pongal and Kayirukuthu event for Sivakasians and visitors alike.
