Sivakasi receives summer showers

Sivakasi, which had been reeling under temperatures varying between 40 degree Celsius and 41 degree Celsius for the past two weeks, received sharp showers for 10 minutes between 04:32 p.m. to 04:45 p.m., today. Sivakasi were drenched in a sudden downpour and bringing down the maximum temperature to 39 degree celsius. For the next 7 days sky will be partly cloudy, with slim possibilities for rain, with average maximum and minimum temperature of 41 and 29 degree celsius respectively.
