AAA College of Engineering and Technology, Sivakasi, organised a lecture on ‘Global trends in science and technology-India’s challenges and opportunities’ by Vijendra Agarwal, former Executive Fellow in the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy, USA, on March 2.

In his address, Mr. Agarwal insisted that only education, especially women’s education, could change the nation, and advised the students to be equipped with a thorough knowledge in their domain and upgrade themselves in recent technologies. R. Jegannathan, former Vice-Chancellor, Middle East University, UAE, in his address, wanted the students to get inspired by what they were learning, excel in their technical competency skills and contribute to society's betterment. Joint secretary K. Vignesh Kumar presided over the programme.
