The 10 days annual Chithirai Pongal Festival will begin with flag hoisting ceremony on 1st May 2018, Tuesday, at Sri Badrakaliamman Thirukoyil, Sivakasi, from 07:00 p.m. to 08:00 p.m.. There will be fireworks display, after Kodiyetram at around 9:30 p.m.. Light Music Manual Orchestra will be performed. Onnaam Thiruvizha will be organised by Ayyan Fireworks Factory Private Limited, Sivakasi.
