Webinar organised at AJ College

The Department of English (PG) organized a Webinar on “The Relevance of Learning Foreign Languages” to promote language learning amidst the teaching and learning communities. Mr. T.K. Senthil Kumar was the resource person. He pointed out the relevance and merits of learning additional languages. He highlighted the growing prominence, enjoyed by the French language. He also admitted the possibility of facing many barriers in language learning “with perseverance and practice it is possible to overcome these barriers” said the speaker. The program was presided by the Head of the department. 524 participants enjoyed the program. Earlier the gathering was welcomed by Mr.V.Madhavan of II MA English. Ms. B.Yaminidevi and Ms.G.Mahalakshmi of II MA English emceeyed the program. Ms. K.Muthulakshmi proposed vote of thanks.
