Pongal Kondattam cum exhibition organised

As a part of Pongal Kondattam, nearly 50 stalls highlighting food, craftsmanship, jewellery, sarees, snacks and spices were installed, at Sivakasi Paper Merchant Association Hall. The event was organised by Divya, Jaishree, Pratiksha and Neha of Sivakasi. Earlier on the eve of Diwali they organised Saavan Mela at the same venue, last year. The shopping festival supports the Sivakasi local traders to showcase their products. Pongal Kondattam in Sivakasi draws crowds in the venue till 9 p.m..
