Agal Vilaku Sales in Sivakasi

This year, Karthigai festival falls on 27th of this month. Agal vilakku made of clay, are lighted in the houses for the festival. Around 20 roadside hackers stalls have mushroomed within last two days, in Sivakasi. Around 100 models of Agal Vilakkus made of clay were kept for sale at Sivakasi Bazar on the eve of Karthigai Festival. A roadside vendor near Sivakasi Sivan Temple said sivakasiweekly.com that, we have 10 varieties of Agal Vilakku and price ranges from Re.1 to Rs.70. They procure it from Tanjore and Kumbakonam.
