Diesel sale doubled in Sivakasi

For last few days in Sivakasi, due to unannounced and unscheduled power cuts for 9-10 hours a day, forced the micro and macro industrialists, traders and manufacturers to use the generator. As Sivakasi reeled under power crisis, demand for diesel went up. As a result sale of diesel doubled in Sivakasi. Mr.R.P.Natarajan,Manager,HP Autocare Centre, said sivakasiweekly.com that, usually sale of diesel will be three thousand litres a day, due to recent power cuts sale of diesel doubled. During power cut time, Sivakasi industries mostly depend on diesel generators, and they manually fill their containers such as barrel, tins, in large quantity with diesel, he added.
