100th Eye Camp conducted at Sivakasi

Sankara Eye Hospital in association with Shri.Pawan Khaitan, Shri.Om Prakash and Shri.Jain successfully organised 100th eye camp at The Paper Merchant Association Hall, Sivakasi, on 3rd March 2013, Sunday. 176 patients screened under various refractive errors and other diseases by a team of four ophthalmologists and seven supporting staff from Sankara Eye Hospital. Of them, 95 patients were referred for free surgery to be conducted at Sanakara Eye Hospital and all the 95 patients were given free spectacles. The free services will include eye check up and refraction for glasses, medicines, eye surgery and glasses at discount rate. A team of 12 volunteers from Arasan Ganesan Polytechnic College participated in the camp. Mr.Sundar Rajan, NSS Officer, AGP was also present. Dr.R.V.Ramani, Founder and Managing Trustee Sankara Eye Care Institutions, India, presented the shield and complimented Mr.Pawan Khaitan, Mr.Om Prakash and Mr.Jain for their outstanding work. All the doctors, supporting staff and volunteers from Arasan Ganesan Polytechnic College were honored with momento by the Chief Guest, in the honouring ceremony. Lunch was arranged for the gathering.
