MoU Signed

On 7th February 2013 Thursday, MoU was signed between Mr. R.D.Sivakumar, Head, Department of M.Com (Computer Applications) and Tamilnad Mercantile Bank Ltd., AJ College Branch.

Fireless Cooking

On 11th February 2013, Monday, On behalf of SOFTCOM Association, the Department of M.Com (Computer Applications) conducted classes on Fireless Cooking. Prof.R.D.Sivakumar presided over the function.

Industrial Visit

On 15th February 2013, Friday, Department of M.Com (Computer Applications) has arranged for an Industrial Visit to Tuticorin Harbour. I and II year students of M.Com (Computer Applications) went for the Industrial visit under the Guidance of Prof.R.D.Sivakumar. A staff representative of the ship described about the various crew functions, purpose and need of cargo activities. The students observed heavy cranes which are used for the loading and unloading of the goods and containers of the ship. The Industrial Visit to Tuticorin Harbour helped students gain a better understanding of shipping companies and its activities.

Women-s Day Celebration

On 26th February 2013, Tuesday, Women-s Day was celebrated by the Post Graduate Department of Commerce (Computer Applications). Mr.R.D.Sivakumar, Head, Department of M.Com(CA) presided over the function.
