School reopened in Sivakasi

State Board and Matriculation schools in Sivakasi reopened, today, after over two months of long summer vacation. Dressed in their uniforms, the students resumed schooling today after two months summer vacations. After Annual examination, schools in Sivakasi close in March every year for Summer vacation and reopen on 1st June. However, this year, Tamil Nadu School Education Department extended the summer vacation for one more week. In Sivakasi, Schools which were scheduled to reopen on 3rd June 2013, Monday, started the new academic year from today onwards.
