Maha Sankatahara Chaturthi

Maha Sankatahara Chaturthi was celebrated yesterday, in majority of the Vinayaka Temples in Sivakasi. Special pujas were performed. Ganapathy Homam was performed in morning and evening as a part of Laksharchanai. On this occasion, some Sivakasians fast throughout the day and break it after sighting the Moon.
