SCIPRO’13 at AAACET

AAA College of Engineering and Technology, Sivakasi had organized “SCIPRO’13” Science Fair on Science Project Demonstrations for School students on 5th October 2013. 1255 school students made their visit to the college for SCIPRO’13 and gained knowledge from the 120 Science Projects submitted by the students from 27 schools in and around Virudhunagar and Madurai District. Thiru. V. JeyaKumar M.A M.Phil B.Ed, Chief Education Officer, Virudhunagar, as the chief guest delivered the valedictory address and honored the winners with cash awards. Selvan. Benith Aathithya ,a student from Nadar Higher Secondary School, Watrap, grabbed the FIRST prize of rupees 15,000;Selvan. Raj Kumar and Selvan .Anthony Maria Vijay from Rajapalayam Nadar Higher Secondary School won the SECOND Prize of rupees 10,000 and students from A.K.D.R Girls Higher Secondary School, Selvi. Nikila and Selvi. Abirami won the THIRD prize of rupees 5,000 for their innovative projects. The Chairman Thiru.P.Panchurajan, the Secretary Dr. P.Karvanan, the Correspondent Dr.P.Ganesan, the Joint Secretary Er.K.Vignesh Kumar and the Principal Dr.K.Arulmozhi were so keen to conduct a science fair in the campus which would stimulate the students’ urge for knowledge and practical application of the knowledge acquired. The fair had been successful as planned and there was a healthy competition among the students in exhibiting their innovation in the field of science.
