TSP for ANJAC Staff members

A two day Teacher Support Programme for the faculty of English department was held at Vickram Engineering college was held at Madurai on 13th & 14th December 2013, Friday & Saturday. The programme was organised by CUP (Cambridge University Press). The training was held with the aim to motivate the students to take up the BEC (Business English Certificate) Exam. The certificate provided by the CUP has life time validity and the students who get good grades will get placed easily in all sectors where communication is very essential. Dr.Rosalia Bonjour, Head, Department of English, Saveetha Engineering college, Chennai was the resource person. The teachers were trained on honing students to face BEC with ease and comfort. Activities were given for the professors to avoid monotony among the listeners. Professors from various Engineering colleges and arts and science colleges attended the programme. Mrs.R.Sophia Rani, Asst. Prof. of English, and Mrs.B.Rathika, Head and Asst. Prof. Dept. of English (PG), Ayya Nadar Janaki Ammal College attended the programme.
