Sivakasi Mariamman Panguni Pongal Festival Kayirukuthu Utsav celebrated today in Sivakasi. Local offices and industries were announced as holidays. Loads of people worshiped Lord Mariamman by putting colour dots in their body and holding Neem leaves in their hands and bodies. Sevaral fans club and Social Clubs in Sivakasi distributed free Butter Milks, Lemon Juices and Paanai Karam to the people. Devotees did Nethikadan such as Theesatti, Alagukuthu, Paravai Kaavadi,Mulaipaari, Paadha Kaanikkai and so on.
