Summer rain lashes Sivakasi

The summer showers that lashed Sivakasi town from 05:30 p.m. to 05:55 p.m., today, provided some respite from the sweltering weather. The sky had remained overcast since 24th May 2014, Saturday morning and it started drizzling Sunday evening. The rain, accompanied by lightning, strong wind and thunders, picked up momentum. More rains to come in 24 hours.
