A rainy beginning to June

Sivakasians were in for a surprise today as Sivakasi received steady rainfall for 40 minutes. Though the day was hot, the afternoon showers brought down the temperature, in Sivakasi. Even though the day saw sunny skies at a temperature of 39 degree Celsius, dark clouds that gathered gave way to a steady drizzle from 05:00 p.m.. And Sivakasi experienced steady showers till 05:40 p.m.. For next one week sky will be cloudy with a chance of rain / drizzle, with average minimum temperature of 29 degree Celsius and maximum of 40 degree Celsius.
