Heat is on

Sultry weather is upon Sivakasi residents, for the last three days. Even as weather observatories recorded close to normal day temperature on 3rd June 2014, Tuesday, Sivakasi residents are experiencing more heat. Sivakasi registered 39 degree Celsius against its normal of 38 degree Celsius during this month. Temperatures have been rising above normal levels in Sivakasi, as dry weather conditions prevail. Sivakasians said that residents on the move would feel that the day was hotter than it actually is. The sun-s rays begin to hit at a sharp angle around this time and people who are outdoors begin to experience the discomfort.
