Raksha bandhan celebrated in Sivakasi

The festival of Raksha bandhan was celebrated with fervour across Sivakasi Town on 10th August 2014, Wednesday. Sisters tied sacred rakhi on the wrist of their brothers after performing special puja. Siblings exchanged good wishes by offering sweets, chocolates and gifts on the occasion of Raksha bandhan. Brisk sale of gifts, rakhis and sweets were witnessed throughout the day, in Sivakasi.
