Rain for the second consecutive day in Sivakasi

Rain continued to lash Sivakasi town and its outskirts for the second consecutive day on Monday, leaving several parts of the town waterlogged. The day witnessed heavy downpour during evening from 04:25 p.m. to 05:00 p.m. and it rained for half an hour unceasingly. And it is drizzling for last half an hour. Rain slowed down the pace of Sivakasi town life as vehicles had to move cautiously through the roads filled with potholes. Electricity supply were disrupted in several places.
