Non stop rain showers drenched school students

Today, Sivakasians began the day on a pleasant note, with a cool breeze early morning. The gradual dip in the temperature began after cloud cover lifted from over Sivakasi town at morning 7:20 a.m.. Caught unawares by the sudden opening of the skies most Sivakasians especially students and office-goers, in the absence of umbrellas, were drenched. They took shelter inside nearby buildings, temple pandhals and tea shops. Rain was non stop and students reached the school drenched. Rain stops at 09:05 a.m. but drizzle continues. A few spells of rain are expected for next one week in Sivakasi town, with average maximum & minimum temperature of 30 and 25 degree celsius.
