Margazhi Peruvizha begins with Theiviga Innisai

Sivakasi Mariamman Temple is celebrating Margazhi Bhajans & Prangams for the last 69 years. This year the festival begins on 12th December 2014 and goes on till 13th January 2014. The events will be conducted by Sri Arunagirinadhar Sabai - Madhar Sabhai. Yesterday, Margazhi Peruvizha begins at Muthamizh Medai, Mariamman Kovil, with Theiviga Innisai by Mrs.Niranjana Kodeeswaran and Mrs.Latha Abiruben. Sevarkodiyetru Vizha will be held on 16th December 2014, Tuesday, at 04:00 a.m.. Mr.K.A.A.A.Tenzing will hoist the flag and inaugurated the Margazhi Bhajan.
