Today Sivakasi Government Hospital reaches the new milestone by collecting 5000+ units of blood for this year, which was highest among non metropolitan cities. And Sivakasi Government Hospital sets new record and its eligible to avail the equipment that separate the blood into red blood corpuscles, white blood corpuscles and plasma and platelets. Currently to avail this facility, people of Sivakasi and adjacent areas need to go Tirunelveli and Madurai. Few months back Virudhunagar gets the facility, as it is district head quarters.
