Dengue Awareness Programme at AAACET

Sivakasi, AAA College of Engineering & Technology have organized an awareness programme on Prevention & Control measures of Dengue fever in our college’s A/C seminar hall on 17th March 2015. Dr.V.K.Kathiravan, M.B.B.S., D.C.H., Sivakasi Municipal Chairman, presided over the programme. In his address, he explained the cause and effects of dengue fever. He elucidated the students about the main cause for Dengue fever the Aedes mosquitoes, its breeding farms and also demonstrated the means to prevent its breeding in stagnant rain water. He insisted the students to keep their surroundings clean and added that “Together we can bring change; we should take responsibility to eradicate Dengue”.

Chairman Shri.P.Panjurajan, Secretary Dr.P.Karvannan, Correspondent Dr.P.Ganesan, Joint Secretary Er.K.Vignesh Kumar B.E., MBA (UK), Principal Dr.K.Arulmozhi organized the camp with an objective to create an awareness of Dengue prevention and control measures among the students.
