Sivakasi Temples to Remain Closed During Eclipse

Today, owing to an instance of lunar eclipse late in the afternoon, a change has been effected in the Pooja schedule in Sivakasi temples. Temples in Sivakasi will remain closed from 03:46 p.m. to 07:15 p.m.. In Sivakasi Mariamman Kovil, all pujas for Panguni Pongal has been scheduled after 08:00 p.m..
