Devotees thronged Karuppasamy Kovil

As a part of Panguni Pongal, devotees perform nerthikadans such as muthu poduthal, pommai, ayiram kan paanai. After visiting and offered prayers in Karuppasamy Kovil, devotees offer their nerthikadans at Mariamman Temple. Hundreds of devotees thronged Karuppasamy Kovil, today morning. Roads leading to Mariamman and Karuppasamy temple were crowded with people offering nerthikadans, buttermilk, rosemilk, fruits, clay doll sellers, archanai materials etc., to devotees who visited the temple. There was heavy police bandobust to manage the crowd.
