Sivakasi receives moderate rain

Today after a sweltering hot day, bands of clouds developed at 02:30 p.m. and sharp showers drenched Sivakasi. Sharp showers accompanied with lightning and thunders. Within minutes of a steady rain accompanied by strong wind the town was seen flooded and clogged. Today-s rain brings welcome relief on hot summer days.
