School uniforms sale picks up in Sivakasi

With just two weeks left for the schools to reopen after the 2015 summer vacation, the sale of uniforms has started to pick up, in Sivakasi town. For the past one week, there was brisk sale of uniform cloths in Sivakasi textile showrooms. Some shops offer discounts for the school uniforms. A textile showroom offers 2 pants for Rs.500, 4 trousers for Rs.500, 3 uniform shirts for Rs.500, 2 sets of Churidhar for Rs.500/- and so on. There was heavy rush in tailor shops for stitching the uniforms.
