Jasmine price sky rocketed from Rs.100 to Rs.500

As it is Kalyana Muhurtham for the past one week, prices of flowers have shot up. In Sivakasi, Jasmine price ranges from Rs.700 per kg.. Jasmine flower is just a dream for Sivakasi commoners this wedding season as it costs Rs.500 to Rs.700 per kg.. Earlier last week it was just Rs.100 a kg..Sivakasi florist expected that the price of Jasmine flower will fall back to normal in one month. And Sivakasians prefer buying Rose Aaram, which cost just Rs.10/- to Rs.20/-.
