Brisk sales of school accessories

For the past one week, Sivakasi bazar is filled with families as parents and children look to buy materials in time for reopening of the schools. Compared to last year, the prices of these stationary items have skyrocketed. In Sivakasi, the prices of stationary goods like school bags, lunch boxes, shoes and uniforms too have risen by about 15%. Parents who want to make their children happy are left with little option but to quietly buy the goods at the price they are offered.
