Rain surprises Sivakasians

Today at late evening, there was non stop drizzling from 06:30 p.m. and a sudden spell of rain caught Sivakasians by surprise, bringing the chill back to the town. Rains lashed various parts of Sivakasi town from 07:30 p.m. to 08:30 p.m., inundating low-lying areas. Rain accompanied by thunders and lightnings. The downpour brought cheers for Sivakasians. And it was drizzling for long hours. Rain water harvesting systems, installed in buildings, received copious amount of water. Sivakasi weather expected to remain cloudy and there is chance for drizzle / rain for next three days, with maximum and minimum temperature of 35 and 26 degree celsius.
