Sivakasi receives copious rain

After a bright hot sunnny day, thick dark clouds kept hovering over Sivakasi town during afternoon. Rain lashed Sivakasi town, today, at afternoon from 02:00 p.m. to 03:45 p.m. The drains were overflowed and the roads remained flooded for some hours. Rainy onslaughts leave several roads damaged, in Sivakasi. Several low-lying areas in the town were inundated after the incessant heavy rain. The downpour brought cheers for Sivakasians. Rain water harvesting systems, installed in buildings, received copious amount of water. Rain brings smile in the face of Sivakasians. Drizzle begins from 05:45 p.m.. For the next one week sky will be cloudy with chances of rain with maximum and minimum temperature of 34 and 26 degree celsius.
