Rain brings temporary relief from water crisis

Todays rain between 02:00 p.m. & 03:45 p.m. and 05:45 p.m. & 06:15 p.m. brought some temporary relief from water crisis, in Sivakasi. Due to shortage of water in Sivakasi, water supply through pipeline by Municipality has been supplied once in 10-15 days. Usually it was supplied once in four days. Lack of rain in the town resulted in decreasing ground level water. Todays rain not only chilled Sivakasi grounds but also filled the water tanks of Sivakasians. The rain brings smile on the face of Sivakasians.
