Rain & drizzle leaves Sivakasi life out of gear

Two spells of heavy rain and non stop drizzle for around four hours left the Sivakasians in complete chaos on Tuesday, inflicting immense sufferings on the Sivakasi dwellers. The drains were overflowed and the roads remained flooded for some hours. Rainy onslaughts leave several roads damaged, in Sivakasi. Several low-lying areas in the town were inundated after the incessant heavy rain. Rain causes power cut for around two hours from 06:30 p.m. to 08:15 p.m.. There was no brisk sale for the roadside hotels / food stalls and they wind up earlier, due to non stop drizzle. Sivakasi may experience heavy rainfall with thunder showers in the next 24 hours, with maximum and minimum temperature of 29 and 23 degree celsius.
