Rain lashes Sivakasi town

Yesterday, Sivakasi expereiences drizzle occasionally. Thick dark clouds kept hovering over Sivakasi town during evening, bringing down the temperature which had become unbearable. Rain lashed Sivakasi town, yesterday, at evening from 03:55 p.m. to 04:20 p.m. The drains were overflowed and the roads remained flooded for some hours. Rainy onslaughts leave several roads damaged, in Sivakasi. Several low-lying areas in the town were inundated after the incessant heavy rain. The downpour brought cheers for Sivakasians. After the rain, it was drizzling occasionally. Rain affects crackers market yesterday. For next three days sky will be cloudy with chances of rain with maximum and minimum temperature of 32 and 23 degree celsius.
